Another year over, and with it, this journey with you all.

Hello lovely followers,

This past year and a half has been quite the experience. I started this blog with the help of my friend and we’ve been growing ever since. Not to brag, but we were the first to start a Bronx Science internet plague. There was a memes blog, another text post blog and this year, sciencestudentblog.com and the facebook meme page became quite popular.

I haven’t been able to keep up this tumblr with many sciflyers this school year and I apologize for that, but my followers have been loyal and I appreciate all the support you have given me thus far.

We’ve been through it all haven’t we? The anon hate, the wonderful photos, the .gifs, it was amazing!

However, it is time for me to leave and pass this tumblr on to someone else, who can bring something new to whybxsciwhy and hopefully revive this blog for future ‘sciencites.’

~If you would like to be the next student to run whybxsciwhy, READ THE FOLLOWING~

1) Submit [1] sciflyer that you have come up with along with your url to whybxsciwhy.

2) Provide a list of ideas that you think will improve whybxsciwhy and why you think you should run the blog in a separate message. Include your email/facebook as well so that I may contact you. :)

3) I will publish your sciflyer and the amount of notes you receive and your ideas will help determine whether or not you will run this blog.

Good luck to everyone in the future.

Thanks for everything guys, it’s been wonderful. :)

Question:

I got my SHSAT results back and I got into Bronx Science. Right now I go to this really awesome private school with a really cool environment and all, so I don't know if I want to leave. Do you like Bronx Science? I need all the help I can get and I have no idea what to expect, and I know from experience that open houses are misleading. What do I do? I'm really nervous.

Asked by Anonymous

Answer:

Bronx Science is (or rather was) a great school; but only if you really put a lot of effort will it play to your advantage. If you want an easy 98 average, do not come to bronx science. The people are really awesome but the administration is difficult to deal with, and so is the work load. In the end it’s up to how much work you plan to put into your high school career. Good luck and feel free to ask any more questions!
